hello blogging world

Well, I finally caved.  I never thought my life was interesting enough to blog about, BUT as I'm about to embark on a completely new chapter of my life (graduating, moving, working, and getting MARRIED--all at once!), I figured it was the perfect time to start :)

First off, here's a little bit about me:

I am senior at BYU. Well, a super senior to be exact, but that's normal, right?
Studying Recreation Management, aspiring to be an Event Planner.
Throwback to freshman year. Feels like just yesterday we were living in the dorms!
Hard to believe my BYU days are almost over...

I am a dancer-- 18 years and counting.  Started dancing when I was 3, competing when I was 6, added my high school dance team to the mix as a freshman, started out as a dance major at BYU, then somehow ended up on the International Folk Dance Ensemble since then.  I'd say dancing's been a pretty big part of my life...
Folk Dance Tour to California

I am a planner-- in every aspect of life.  This probably explains why I'm glued to my calendar and can't function without a perfectly planned schedule.  I used to get completely thrown by changing plans, but thankfully I've learned to cope with that much better in the past few years. But with that, I LOVE to entertain, plan events, and throw parties.
LOVE throwing parties. Especially with a theme :)

I am obsessively organized. Almost to a fault. Some people say I'm OCD? Weird...
(Even at the grocery store...)

I am BUSY. I don't think you'll ever catch me sitting still.  I love running errands, getting things done, and my greatest satisfaction in life comes from crossing things off my to-do list.  I'm always coming up with new "projects" to do, and as soon as I've finished one--I'm on to the next.  I keep myself very busy, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
I'd be lost without it.

As I mentioned earlier, I graduate in 37 days, get married in 38 days, and couldn't possibly be more excited for my life to start! This is an incredibly exciting time of my life, and after years and years of hard work and preparation, I feel so blessed to have everything fall into place--far better than I ever could have imagined.
Lucky girl :)

Stay posted!
